Two Ways
Two ways,
but only one leads to happiness.

demanding this and demanding that.
Others will quietly listen and observe
as The Beloved governs the world,
accepting this and accepting that.
Your choice.
Poem by: Wahiduddin Richard Shelquist (Rendezvous with the Beloved)
In about similar way Shaikh Ibn 'ata 'illah has said in the book of Al-Hikam, the following "In the morning, the one who does not understand will consider what he will do (during the day), while the one who understands will consider what the One will do with him (during that day)."
