Submit before the will of Allah

If you are destined for good fortune you will be blessed; if afflictions have been ordained, no matter where you hide they will seek you out. Submit therefore before the will of God; be grateful in well-being and endure adversity with fortitude that His light may radiate within your being.

- Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jillani , Futhul Ghaib

Fighting has been enjoined upon you while it is hateful to you. But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you; and perhaps you love a thing and it is bad for you. And Allah Knows, while you know not -
Surat Al-Baqarah 216

Thankfullness

Allah Swt says in the Holy Quran :

If you are thankful, I will surely give you more; but if you are ungrateful, My punishment is terrible indeed. (14:7)

This is reinforced by the traditional report, transmitted on the authority of 'Ata' (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: "I entered the presence of 'A'isha (may Allah be well pleased with her), and said: 'Tell us about the most amazing experience you ever had in the company of Allah's Messenger (Allah bless him and give him peace).'

She wept at first, but then she said: 'Was there anything at all about him that was not a marvelous wonder? He came to me one night, and snuggled up beside me in my bed until his skin was touching my skin. But then he said: 'O daughter of Abu Bakr, let me go, so that I may devote myself to the worship of my Lord.'

"She said: ' So I told him: "I love your nearness, but I prefer to respect your dearest wish." I therefore allowed him to take his leave of me. So he got up, found a skin container full of water, and performed his ritual ablution. Then he stood up, and started to perform the night prayer. He wept as he did so, until his tears were streaming down onto his chest. Then he performed ruku', and shed more tears. Then he performed sujud, and again he wept. Then he raised his head, and wept still more. He went on like this until Bilal (may Allah be well pleased with him) arrived on the scene, and so he told him about the fajr prayer.

"'I then said: "O Messenger of Allah, what causes you to weep, when Allah has forgiven you your earlier and later sins?" To this he replied:

"Should I not be a thankful servant? Why should I not do it, since Allah has sent down to me the words of revelation:
Surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the alternation of night and day, and the ship that runs upon the sea with that which is of use to human beings, and the water which Allah sends down from the sky, thereby reviving the earth after its death, and dispersing all kinds of beasts therein, and the distribution of the winds, and the clouds set in orderly array between heaven and earth-surely there are signs for people who can understand. (2:164) "
Let us be more thankfull to Allah for all  nikmah and blessing He granted us since our coming to the world to these days.

Tahajjud Rabiatul Adawaiyah

Rabiatul Adawiyah seorang sufi wanita yang sangat terkenal pernah bermimpi menerima suruhan supaya ia tetap mengerjakan solat Tahajjud meskipun ia sedang sakit.

A story of Rabiatul Adawiyah

Below is a story of Rabiatul Adawiyah who one day sent Hasan al Basri three things—a piece of wax, a needle, and a hair.

“Be like wax,” she said. “Illumine the world, and yourself burn.

Be like a needle, always be working naked. When you have done these two things, a thousand years will be for you as a hair.”

“Do you desire for us to get married?” Hasan asked Rabiatul Adawiyah.

“The tie of marriage applies to those who have being,” she replied. “Here being has disappeared, for I have become naughted to self and exist only through Him. I belong wholly to Him. I live in the shadow of His control. You must ask my hand of Him, not of me.”

“How did you find this secret, Rabiatul Adawiyah ” Hasan asked.

I lost all ‘found’ things in Him,” She answered.

“How do you know Him?” Hasan enquired.

“You know the ‘how’; I know the ‘howless’,” Rabiatul Adawiyah said

Note to readers - During our journey to find our trueself, once we have reach certain level-meaning of the words uttered by Rabiatul Adawiyah would become clear to us -  until then it will remain a mystery to be discovered, understood and hopefully experience.

Hassan al Basri was trying to ask Rabiatul Adawiyah about the secret. What he got is only an indirect answer from her. It is a secret that she wanted him to discover himself!

Hakikat mati sebelum mati

No attachement - true love

When we do our duty to others, to the human race, we must do it without attachment, without selfishness, in the proper way, expecting no reward.

Act that pours forth like this is an act of true love.

A broken Love

If we pursue God, worship Him, ask Him for favors, for property, money, possessions, a baby, great titles, a kingdom, or even for heaven, if we love God with interested motives, with selfish love, that love will break down. It is a broken love...

Hakikat ikhtiar..

Hakikat Orang Arif Billah

a. Orang yang mengenal dirinya.
b. Orang yang mengenal Tuhannya.
c. Orang yang mengenal segala sifat Tuhannya.
d. Orang yang mengenal afaal ( Perbuatan) Tuhannya.
e. Orang yang mengenal Asma' (Nama-nama) Tuhannya.
f. Orang yang mengenal zahir dan batin.
g. Orang yang mengenal baik dan jahat.
h. Sama sahaja suka dan duka.
i. Tidak berasa gembira apabila dipuji.

Knowing self

Knowing others is wisdom
Knowing the self is enlightenment.
Mastering others requires force
Mastering the self requires strength.
- Tao Te Ching

"It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself,
you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not
know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and
lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you
will be imperiled in every single battle."
- Sun Tzu

"He who knows others is learned, but the wise one is one who knows
himself. Learning without wisdom is of no use." - A sufi

Kata Hikmah

Woods for his fire

If you don’t have the Beloved why aren’t you looking for Him?
If you have the Beloved why aren’t you rejoicing?
If the Friend is truly your friend. Why not stay with Him?
If the rebec does not wail,Why not teach it how to sing?
If someone bars you from the truth, Why not fight him and his brother as well? You sit quietly and say to yourself, “Something strange is going on.”The only thing strange is that your best friend is a stranger.

You are the Sun of the world -Why is your heart so black? Why do you fall back on your drab and stagnant ways?Don’t stay melted like gold in a furnace -Become a piece of jewelry!

The treasure of Unity is found by those who look within. Why not join your spirit to the onewho sits inside your heart?

Did Majnun ever love two Laylas? Why seek more than one face and one cheek?

There is such a glorious moonhiding in the shadows of your being. Why not make it rise with the power of a midnight prayer? You have danced in the tavern for ages, Love’s wine never slips from your hand,Yet with each new sipyour soul is ravished like never before.

The wine I drink is the fire of love and God Himself pours it into my mouth! What use is your life If your bones are not used as wood for His fire? I’ll leave you with that.I could go on,I could fill pages with these elegant verses But this is a tale for the heart and soul, not the lips.

Life is an illusions?

Let us suppose, then, that we are dreaming, and that all these particulars—namely, the opening of the eyes, the motion of the head, the forth-putting of the hands—are merely illusions; and even that we really possess neither an entire body nor hands such as we see.

The only love that is beneficial is selfless love.

The only love that is beneficial is selfless love.
Whatever we raise or touch – cattle, goats, donkeys, horses, dogs, cats, rats, house, property, possessions, learning, titles, fame, political status, or even wisdom – whatever it is we love, if our love is directed toward something and remains fixed on that thing, it is a love which can be lost, which can die...

The Golden Rule

"Every religion emphasizes human improvement, love, respect for others, sharing other people's suffering. On these lines every religion had more or less the same viewpoint and the same goal."
~ His Holiness the Dalai Lama

Religious groups, as well as non-theistic ethical systems, differ greatly in their beliefs and practices. There is, however, a common thread that runs through them all. Each of these systems of belief has some example of the Ethic of Reciprocity in their teachings. The most common version of this is known as:

The Golden Rule "Do onto others as you would have them do onto you."

~Abraham-Hicks~ ♥Expanded Version of You♥

"Just love everybody that interacts with you no matter how personally, or how peripherally, involved with you they are. The efficiency of the people who deal with you... everything is orchestrated by the manager called Law of Attraction. And your vibration is setting all of it into motion. Everything affecting you is a reflection of the vibration that you are emitting. Spend more time focused upon your dream than upon the reality. The reality gives birth to the dream -- but the dream is where you are wanting to put your attention." --- Abraham
